Join the Scrapbooking Book of Me Challenge
Project M.E. is a scrapbooking challenge where you make layouts about YOU.
We scrappers make layouts about everybody else and we are seldom seen in the scrapbooks! You do want the folks who are looking at your works of art to know a little something about you, right? Well, this project will help you do just that!
1) Every month, you will create one page of an album about yourself based on a challenge topic. The album can be any size you want–4×4, 6×6, 8×8, 9×9, 12×12.
I’m giving us a month to create the layout because, let’s face it, we’re all busy. I don’t want us to freak out because we have to do something in a week. That’s not realistic for me and I’m thinking many of you out there feel the same. So we get 30 days. That’s 30 days for reflection, photo-taking (if necessary) and making the layout.
If you “miss” a month, no big deal. Do the challenges at your own pace! Upload when you can.
2) You can submit your layout response to the challenge in any of the following ways:
- Send it to me via e-mail and I’ll post it on this blog
- Leave a link to your layout in the comments section of the challenge you’re responding to (for example, if you did a layout for Challenge #3, then you’d leave a comment on that post with a link)
- Upload it to the Crop Candy Facebook Wall (you’ll need a Facebook account to do this) and I’ll add it to the Project M.E. album there
Be sure to include:
- Title of layout (if applicable)
- The challenge
- Supplies you used
There is no critiquing or anything like that. Again, I’m not trying to make this a stressful project. We’re doing this for fun, to stretch ourselves creatively and get rid of some stash.
3) During the month, if anyone has ideas about what the next month’s challenge should be, please submit them. I would like this to be interactive, so all ideas are welcome.
That’s it! Looking forward to seeing what we come up with as we go along!
