It’s been a wild weekend, everybody! As you may know, Close To My Heart held its convention in National Harbor, MD and I had a fabulous time learning about all the new products and program changes that are coming with the Autumn/Winter 2010 Idea Book. You guys are going to lovvvve them all. So much to tell!
First, let me explain the title of this post. On the first day, CTMH CEO Jeanette Lynton and other CTMH staff revealed new products and programs in video spoofs of popular TV shows like “The Apprentice” and “Desperate Housewives” (“Desperate Scrappers”). Very clever and funny. Then some staff came on stage and performed a live music video for us to the tune of Beyonce’s “All The Single Ladies.” In CTMH-Land, it was called “All The Scrappin’ Ladies.” It was a treat. I especially loved the line, “If you liked it, then you shoulda put some bling on it.” LOL!

New Programs
1) Studio J will have two different membership plans and members will get 50% off on layouts and be able to download hi-res and low-res JPGs of the layouts. They’ve also increased the number of templates and paper kits, added new features like photo retouching, airbrushing, customization of kit, member-exclusive kits and more. There’s also going to be an iPhone app where you can share your Studio J layouts while you’re on the go. Available September 1, 2010.
I’m going to produce videos showing you how to use Studio J and its various features. The first one will be up in September. I’m really excited about the new Studio J enhancements and I think you will be too!
2) For my friends who are not local to me, you can have an “online gathering” where you can invite all your best buds to order online and as hostess, you’ll receive Hostess Rewards (FREE product). The online program starts October 1, 2010.
CTMH has also boosted the amount of rewards a hostess can receive. These rewards go into effect September 1.

3) Idea Books will come out twice a year but will be supersized so you see more products and get more ideas for cards and layouts. This goes into effect with the Winter 2011 Idea Book.
