Yesterday I broke down and bought a Cricut from QVC. It was a good price and on Easy Pay! It seemed silly not to take advantage of this deal. Then again, it doesn't take too much arm pulling to get me to purchase a cool scrapbooking product.
I've been looking at Cricuts ever since they first started hawking them on QVC. I remember thinking, "Why would I spend that kind of money to cut out letters?" I was a die cut purist. I brandished my Quickutz hand tool in the air and said "I will never abandon you!" (A few years prior when someone introduced me to Quickutz, I also asked, "Why would I spend that kind of money to cut out letters?" )
My new Cricut arrives on May 21. I've already got my 40% Michael's coupon to buy my first cartridge (QVC doesn't ship it with one). While I wait for my package, I'm looking for some advice on how to make the best use of my new toy.
What kind of cardstock works best? What are the best cartridges to get? Where are the best places to buy Cricut accessories?
If you are a Cricut user, please share your experiences, tips, tricks and other Cricut adventures in the comments below. Thanks!

WHAT?! It figures…
I hate to tell you this but Michael’s doesn’t accept the 40% off coupon on Cricut products. =(
