Crop Candy TV: Ode to Cricut

In my latest video, I talk about my evolution in using die cut machines. Then I make a simple scrapbooking layout using coordinating patterned paper and cardstock, stickers, a stamp and die cut letters.
Here’s one of the layouts featured in the video based on Effer Dare #137:

Commute

Cardstock base (Bazzill), journaling block (Close to My Heart) , ledger paper (Making Memories), printout of Google map, chipboard clock (unknown), die cut letters, “Plantin Schoolbook” (Cricut), black pen (American Crafts)

Here’s the project layout featured in the video. The layout is based on a pattern from the Reflections.

Ode_to_cricut

Cardstock, patterned paper and stickers, “Tinkerin” Level 2 Paper packet, “Gear Up” stamp set (Close to My Heart), die cut letters and heart, “Plantin Schoolbook” (Cricut), black pen (American Crafts)

Enjoy the video!

UPDATE: Thought you all might like to try your hand at the pattern I used for the Cricut layout.  Here it is (PDF)!

Glad you enjoyed it! It was quite cathartic making that page. I recommend making one to make yourself feel better. Hee hee.

ROFL! I love your commute page! I’m going to have to remember to take a picture instead of banging the steering wheel next time I’m stuck in traffic!
