CTMH Wishes Card Challenge #9

Today’s card is Wishes pattern, “Name Plate” and it made its initial appearance in a post about Liquid Glass.  What makes this card unique (at least for me, anyway) is that I’m using only Desert Sand textured cardstock and My Stickease.

When I first started scrapbooking, I was very big on stickers because that’s pretty much what was available for layouts along with cardstock and patterned paper.  These days, I use more stamps to embellish my pages, but I still have a soft spot for stickers, especially if they’re of good quality.

CTMH My Stickease are cardstock stickers of excellent quality with beautiful artwork.  Because the artwork in My Stickease is so versatile and you could even say, intricate, I was able to layer the stickers from the Simple Pleasures set to create a nice design for my card:

  • The narrow blue strip is a border sticker.
  • On top of that is a piece of patterned paper from the Simple Pleasures Level 2 paper packet.
  • “Dream Big” is a large label sticker.  The tiny flowers were part of its design.
  • The hearts in the circles are additional stickers.

I added some Liquid Glass to the flowers and the hearts, then finished off the card with some Natural Hemp.

Next time you make a card, think about using My Stickease for embellishments.  The best thing about them is that there’s a set to coordinate with every CTMH paper packet.  Check them out!
