It’s Felicity! New Paper Packet from CTMH for National Papercrafting Month

Felicity Paper for Natlional Papercrafting Month

January is National Papercrafting Month and Close To My Heart brings us Felicity, a great new scrapbooking kit to celebrate it!  But you don’t have to wait until January–you can get this kit now beginning December 15 through January 31, 2010.  Check out the National Papercrafting Month Web site for a chance to win a daily prize.

The thing I like most about Felicity is the die-cut papers.  I always see layouts with big circles and I’ve always wanted to do those kinds of pages, but I never get around to it. (Get it?–around to it).  Anyway, with Felicity, I’ve found a pre-cut solution that looks so much better than anything I could do myself.

In addition to the decorative die-cut paper, the Felicity Collection features three gorgeous color schemes, and a D-size stamp set that include flowers, flourishes, argyle, birds and an entire alphabet!  You also get a four-color idea sheet to jump start your projects.

Here’s a peak at some of the papers and the stamp set:

The stamps are slightly colored because I’ve already put them to good use.  Here are some projects I’ve made with Felicity.

Tuscany

This layout features my future home in the Tuscany region of Italy.  Right.  These shots are from the vineyard Brian and I visited during our honeymoon in Italy in 2007.

Materials:

I love the artisan die-cut sheet.  It’s actually the flip side of it.  All of the Felicity papers are double-sided so you can get more bang from the kit.

Bushey Heath Farm

I took these photos on the Eastern Shore of Maryland on the first day of Autumn.

Materials:

Happy Birthday Card

In this card, I cut one of the artisan die-cut sheets and used a piece of it to create the cover.

Materials:

Welcome to the Neighborhood card

I trimmed one of the circle die-cut sheets to make an interesting background layer for this card.

Materials

  • Felicity paper packet and stamp set (flower)
  • Around the Block stamp set (cloud, house, “welcome…”) – November ’09 Stamp of the Month
  • Cocoa, Desert Sand and Colonial White cardstock
  • Desert Sand, Cocoa and Twilight stamp ink
  • Bamboo, Vineyard Berry and Goldrush markers
  • Card pattern – Wishes: Sentiment Wave

I stamped the house, roof, window, shutters and door and then pieced them together.  I used the markers to color in the windows and shutters.
