Rolling is an stamping technique where you ink an image in a light color and then roll the edges of your stamp in a darker color to get an outline effect. Watch this video to see rolling in action.

Here’s an example of an image that’s been “rolled.” The inside of the hedgehog is inked in the lighter Desert Sand while its edges are inked in Cocoa.
