Join me for a workshop in celebration of World Cardmaking Day!

Workshop Details:

Date: Saturday, October 2, 2010
Time: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Location: Alexandria, VA
Cost: $30.00/person

We’ll make 20 cards (2 each of 10 designs) using select papers from the Magnifique paper packet, as well as new inks and embellishments from the Close To My Heart 2010 Autumn/Winter Idea Book.  After this workshop, you’ll have tons of cardmaking and stamping ideas to use on your future projects!

Workshop includes:

• Select Magnifique patterned papers and coordinating cardstock
• 20 card bases and envelopes, including clear, circle and standard-size bases
• Embellishments (sparkles, flowers, ribbon, etc.)
• Card Pattern and Cutting Guide
• Use of my stamps, stamp pads, acrylic blocks and assorted tools
• Light lunch, drinks, snacks provided
• A goodie bag
• All attendees receive a prize!

Tools to bring:

• Paper trimmer
• Micro tip scissors
• Dry adhesive (e.g. Tombow, Dotto)
• Glue Dots (optional)
• Foam tape or Pop Dots (optional)

Card Swap

We’ll also have a card swap.  You’ll make a card for everyone who decides to participate.  For example, if there are six people who want to do the card swap, you’ll make five cards.

You can still join in if you’re out of town.  Simply make the required number of cards and mail them to me by October 2.  In turn, I will send the cards made for you.

I will provide the number of cards to make near the RSVP date.

Please RSVP by September 17, 2010 at 12 noon in the Registration section below.  I have slots for six in-person attendees.  Also check the box on the payment screen if you want to be in the card swap.

If you are not in the area or if you can’t attend in person, you can still get the workshop package.
