Here’s another quick Valentine’s Day project–a gift bag! Again, I’m using scraps from the Topstitch kit of the month.
Materials:
- Topstitch Kit of the Month
- My Acrylix “Love Is in the Air” stamp set (exclusive to Topstitch kit of the month)
- My Acrylix “Just for the Holidays” stamp set (the “TO” and “FROM” on the label)
- Clear Sparkles
- Exclusive Inks Pad – Baby Pink
- Exclusive Inks Pad – Heavenly Blue
- Exclusive Inks Pad – Cocoa
- White gift bag (Michael’s)
- “Love” and hearts ribbon (American Crafts–got it in the dollar bin at Michael’s)
- Artisan label (hand-drawn)
- Glue Dots
- Liquid glue
Instructions:
- Measure the front and back panels of the gift bag. Trim patterned paper accordingly. Adhere to bag. You can do the sides too.
- Draw an artisan label or use a die cut label shape.
- Stamp design on label using the “Love Is in the Air” stamp set.
- Stamp a flower in Cocoa and a smaller one in Heavenly Blue and cut them out. Adhere the small flower on top of the larger one with a Glue Dot. Place a Clear Sparkle in the center of the small flower.
- Stamp “TO” and “FROM” on the label.
- Ink the edges of the label with Cocoa ink.
- Matte the label with Cocoa cardstock. Glue to the bag.
- Trim ribbon and tie around handle of the bag. (Do this after you put the goodies in).
