Valentine’s Project: Take-Out Box
In about 10 minutes, I decorated this cute Valentine’s Day take-out box with scraps from the Topstitch kit.
Materials:
- Topstitch Kit of the Month – Best Option
- Dimensional Elements – Hearts
- Clear Sparkles
- Exclusive Inks Pad – Hollyhock
- Sponge from Texture Tools
- Organdy Ribbon Rounds – Baby Pink
- Take-Out Box (Michael’s)
- “Love” ribbon (American Crafts–got it in the dollar bin at Michael’s)
- Glue Dots
Instructions:
- Cut 1 x 10″ strip of B&T Duos patterned paper from Topstitch. I used the reverse side of the sheet with the large flowers.
- Glue strip around the box.
- Cut 10″ of the “Love” ribbon and glue on top of the paper strip.
- Dab the sponge tool in the Hollyhock ink pad. Apply ink to the heart piece. Keep applying ink until you have even coverage on the heart.
- Add Clear Sparkles to the heart. Apply heart to box with Glue Dot.
- Trim some organdy ribbon and tie a bow on the handle of the box.
Fill box with your favorite treats and hand them out to your sweets!
